MEDENUS stands for quality "Made in Germany". Founded 1972 by Dieter Medenus in Rösrath near Cologne. With gas pressure regulators, safety shut-off valves and safety relief valves a customer-oriented product portfolio was developed.
With his well-earned retirement Dieter Medenus retired from the company in 2004. The production facility was relocated to the company's current headquarters in Olpe, South Westphalia - since 2019 a new headquarters has been built here with a focus on further optimized delivery times and best customer service.

The MEDENUS gas pressure regulator ensures a constant outlet pressure when the gas usage varies and ensures a quick pressure regulation when the flow rate abruptly changes.
The gas pressure regulator R 50 is suitable for gases in accordance with DVGW Code of Practice G260/262 and all other neutral and non-corrosive gases (others upon request).The R 50 is available with thread connections Rp 1", Rp 1,5", Rp 2" and a maximum inlet pressure up to 3,0 bar. All gas pressure regulators are certified by DVGW and CE.

The main purpose of the safety relief valve SL 5 is to relieve small pressure increases and quantities in the controlled system to prevent the safety shut-off valve from being triggered. The safety relief valve SL 5 is suitable for small blow-off quantities and simple applications. For more demanding tasks we recommend the use of the safety relief valve SL 10.
The gas filters have the task of separating gas impurities such as dust, welding residues and other solids in gas-carrying lines at a defined point. They are mainly used in gas pressure control and measuring systems and upstream of such devices whose function is impaired by contamination. Our flanged ball valves consist of a two-piece nodular cast iron body and are in fire-safe design. The floating ball inside the body, which is chambered on three sides, is adjusted with the handle. Optionally, the handle can be replaced by an electric or pneumatic rotary actuator.
